Avery James School of Cosmetology

Avery James School of Cosmetology offers students cosmetology training that covers basic knowledge and techniques used in the development of skills in hairstyling, hair shaping, permanent waving, hair relaxing, hair coloring, facial makeup, and thermal heat processing. The student obtains basic understanding in science, business management, and state law as it relates to cosmetology. Classroom lectures, demonstrations, manikin practice, visual and audio aids, as well as supervised salon experiences are included. Financial aid available to those who qualify.
