State of Vermont, Esthetics Certification Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
To become a cosmetology instructor, you'll need your cosmetology license, 3 years of full time experience, and pass the exams.
Your license must be renewed by November 30th of odd numbered years. There is a $130 fee.
To practice in Vermont if you're from another state, you must hold a cosmetology license from a state whose licensing requirements are great than Vermont's. You must also pass the state law exam.
Instructors need to complete 24 CEUs every 2 years.
