State of Arkansas, Nail Care Certification Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old with a 10th grade education or GED.
To become an instructor you must have 600 hours in cosmetology teaching courses plus pass the exam.
License renewal is every 2 years by your birthday. There is an $80 fee.
If you're coming in from another state, you must have a valid cosmetology license, a certification of licensure and training, and pass the state exam.
There are no continuing education requirements.
