State of Indiana, Nail Care Certification Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old with a 10th grade education or equivalent.
To become a cosmetology instructor, you must have your cosmetology license plus 1000 hours of training.
License renewal is by August 1, every 4 years. There is a $40 fee.
If you want to practice in Indiana from another state, you must be licensed from a state that requires 1500 training hours. You must have a minimum of 70% on the written and practical exams.
