State of Wisconsin, Nail Care Certification Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

To become an instructor, you need your cosmetology license plus 4000 hours of practice, or you need 2000 hours of practice plus 150 training hours.

You must renew your license in March of odd numbered years. There is an $82 fee.

To practice cosmetology in Wisconsin if you're from another state, you must have completed at least 4000 hours of licensed practice.

You'll need to complete 4 board approved CEUs every 2 years.
