Are you interested in a career in beauty? Do you enjoy giving makeovers and helping your friends improve their style? A career in cosmetology may be perfect for you! Cosmetologists are responsible for helping others improve their style and feel better about the way they look on a daily basis.
Meridian offers cosmetology training in Florida that prepares you to deliver high-quality beauty and hair services to both men and women. The hands-on training gives you the skills you need to start an exciting career and become a leader in the beauty industry.
Your cosmetology education will include instruction in:
- Men’s and women’s hair cutting
- Styling, perm application, coloring, and bleaching
- Facials
- Chemical waving
- Scalp treatments and proper shampooing techniques
- Manicure and pedicure techniques
Upon graduation and state licensure, you’ll be qualified for a position as an entry-level cosmetologist and be prepared to start a career in a full-service cosmetology salon. Your training will prepare you to perform some of today’s most popular cosmetic services!
