State of Utah, Hair Styling Certification Requirements
You must be at least 17 years old and be of 'good moral character'.
To become a cosmetology instructor, you must have your cosmetology license plus 1000 hour instructor training program. Or, 3000 hours of experience.
Your license must be renewed by September 30th of odd numbered years. There is a $52 fee.
To practice in Utah if you're from another state, you must submit verification of your current license, and you must meet the educational and exam requirements.
There an no CEUs required.
